This story is called The Bad Coyote. I wrote it in phonics. It is supposed to be like a folk tale that you learn a lesson from.

Once upon a time in a forest, there were two boys and a bad coyote. The two boys made houses. The first house was made out of straw. The second one was made out of bricks. The coyote hit the first house. It broke. The boy ran quickly to his brother’s house. The coyote ran quickly as he could. The two boys shut the door just in time. The coyote climbed up the house. Meanwhile, the boys started a fire. The coyote climbed down the chimney. He burnt his bottom. The coyote learned not to be mean to others.
