On October seventh, I had the privilege of seeing Matthew Kelly, a world-wide Catholic speaker. The talk was called “Living Every Day with Passion and Purpose.” I would like to share some things he talked about.
There were a couple of things that grabbed my attention. He had said, only about 25% of Catholics practice their faith. This includes going to Mass on Sundays, receiving the Sacraments and practicing your faith daily. Another thing he said is that God wants us to be phenomenal decision makers. Ask ourselves questions like who am I? What am I here for? These questions help lead us to our vocations. He also explained the importance of clarity. If we surround ourselves in silence for about 10-15 minutes a day it helps us to hear God’s solutions to our problems.
These are some of the things I do to strengthen my faith: I receive the sacraments, study my faith, and pray. I usually find time for clarity right before I fall asleep at night. If you have never heard of Matthew Kelly or want to know more about him, you can look for him at www.dynamiccatholic.com
