Through Frozen Eyes

January 1, 2018

Crystallized, I fall down,

With my little frozen gown.

My Maker shaped me unique,

Intricate designs, all of which are sleek.

How much time would I take from my days

To sing Him my grateful praise.

But I have not a mouth to thank Him, so

I reflect the suns’s light in a soft wintry glow.

Alas! I am so very small you cannot see

The amazing designs that make up me.

Yet through my frozen eyes I see

My Maker is glee when I reflect His majesty.

So thank God for me today,

Before I melt away.
